Shane and I have both grown up around animals and have had pets of our own throughout our lives. We’re very comfortable with both dogs and cats, and we’ve also looked after pets for family and friends when needed. We genuinely love animals and are used to all the normal parts of living with them. feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, cleaning up after them and, of course, accommodating their individual little personalities!

What does your pet's daily routine look like? Is there anything we should know about their behaviour, health or temperament before booking?

A typical day

Hi! I’m Latifah, and I house-sit together with my partner, Shane. We’re both huge animal lovers and have grown up around pets, particularly dogs and cats.
 We’ve previously house-sat together while looking after two dogs for an extended period and genuinely loved it. We’re very comfortable with the normal day-to-day stuff like feeding, walks, playtime, keeping them company and, obviously, providing an unreasonable amount of attention (Our dog demands lots of pets and cuddles 😹)
 We both work remotely running our own businesses, which means we’re around during the day rather than disappearing off to work for 8 hours. We’re also pretty flexible with where we can be around Ireland and are especially happy with longer stays. We do still go out and explore, grab food or run errands but we'd always plan around your pet's normal routine. If your pet has any particular needs around how long they can be left, just let us know and we can discuss what works before the booking.
 We’re homeowners and short-term rental hosts ourselves, so we completely understand that you’re not only trusting someone with your pets, you’re trusting them with your home too. We’ll treat both with the same care and respect we’d want someone to have with ours, keep things tidy and happily send updates while you’re away
 Every animal is different, so we’re happy to stick to whatever routine they’re used to. Walks, feeding schedules, particular sleeping arrangements, favourite toys, weird little habits, excessive cuddles, whatever keeps them happy and comfortable.
 One important thing to know is that Shane and I always sit together, so there will be two of us staying in your home and looking after your pets. We’re more than happy to meet beforehand, virtually or in person, so you can get to know us and, more importantly, your pets can decide whether they approve of us first. 
We are brand new to the platform, so we have decided to offer our first few stays at a heavily discounted rate while we build up our profile and reviews. We genuinely enjoy being around animals, so getting to look after somebody’s pets while they’re away sounds like a pretty lovely gig to us. ❤️
