When I'm caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible. I stick to the feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any house rules they've set out, since consistency matters most for keeping pets calm and comfortable. I keep the environment secure by double checking doors, gates, and windows, and I confine a pet if that's part of their normal routine or if they're the type who needs a settling in period with a new person. I always ask for detailed instructions beforehand so nothing is left to guesswork, and I stay in close contact with the owner throughout the visit or stay to update them on how their pet is doing.

I treat every pet as if they were my own, so the more I know beforehand, the better I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for the whole time you're away. No detail is too small, I'd genuinely rather know everything upfront.

A typical day

Every visit is full of play, cuddles, and one-on-one attention, dogs get games and a chance to explore, while cats get gentle playtime or a quiet lap to settle into. I always check food, water, and litter first, then spend the rest of the visit doing whatever your pet loves most, whether that's fetch, a sniff around the garden, or just some calm company. Having fostered pets for over four years and lived with my own cats and dog, I know how much a familiar, relaxed presence means when their owner is away.

The love for animals cannot be cultivated.. one has to be born with that nature to simply love animals. Be it dogs or cats or birds or cows... Christine is one such person who has this inate quality to simply co exit with them.. in the most harmonious way... I have 3 cats and they simply adore her... today even when she calls to chat with them, they haven't forgotten her charming voice.. She took care of them for me when I went to France last year in 2025 for my studies.. As much as they miss, I miss Christine... Iam yet to find a soul who loves animals the way she does. All the best Christine...
