Natalia M.'s Experience

I’ve had dogs of my own since I was about 10, so I’ve grown up around them and have always been very comfortable looking after them. When I was younger, I used to walk dogs for neighbours, and since then I’ve often looked after dogs for friends and family when they were away or needed a hand. I’ve always been particularly drawn to dogs and tend to form a really good connection with them. I genuinely love their company, whether that’s playing with them, going for walks or just spending time with them at home. I’m quite an active person as well, so taking a dog out for a nice long walk is something I really enjoy and would happily be doing anyway. For me, looking after a dog is a lovely way to spend my time, and I’d make sure they get plenty of attention, affection and company while they’re with me.

What is your dog’s usual daily routine? What time do they normally eat, walk and go to bed? How often and how long are their usual walks? How are they with other dogs? How are they with new people? Have they ever shown aggression, bitten, snapped or guarded food, toys or people? Do they have any allergies, medical conditions or medications I need to know about? Are they fully house-trained?

A typical day

I’m currently in the fifth year of my studies, and this year I have a much lighter college schedule, which means I spend most of my day at home. This gives me plenty of time to give dogs the attention and company they need throughout the day, as well as take them out for regular walks and playtime. I’m available for boarding any day of the week and can be quite flexible with drop-off and pick-up times.
